Local Journalism Matters.
Over the last decade, we’ve witnessed the decline of local journalism in Toronto, even as the city has grown in size and complexity. While other outlets are retreating, we are doubling down on our vision for the future of local journalism—in-depth, smart, human. We are not-for-profit and our paywall-free content is available to everyone. By supporting The Local, you’re helping us build a new kind of journalism organization. All contributions come with a charitable tax receipt.
You may cancel your support at any time by clicking “manage contribution” below.
Charitable tax receipts will be emailed at year end. If you have any questions, please email Craig Madho at craig@thelocal.to.
