Ward 3 is bounded to the north by Queen street, to the east by Dixie Road, to the west by Mclaughlin Road and Hurontario Street, and to the south by Highway 407. The median household income for Ward 3 is $74,500, the lowest in the city. The ward is home to fewer immigrants and racialized people than the citywide average. Brampton wards are governed in pairs, by both a city councillor and a regional councillor. Wards 3 and 4 are governed by city councillor Dennis Keenan, who is wrapping up his first term, and by longtime regional councillor Martin Medeiros, who was first elected in 2014.
