Ward 10 is bounded to the north by Mayfield Rd, to the east by Highway 50, to the west by Torbram Rd, and to the south by Castlemore Rd and Ebenezer Rd. Ward 10 is both the wealthiest ward in the city, with the median household income at $117,000, and the most racialized, at 92.9 percent. Brampton wards are governed in pairs, by both a city councillor and a regional councillor. Harkirat Singh is the city councillor representing Wards 9 and 10, and was first elected in 2018. Gupartap Singh Toor is the incumbent regional councillor and first took office in October 2022 as the youngest councillor in the city’s history. Up against Toor is Gurpreet Singh Dhillon, who has previously been councillor in the wards between 2014 and 2022.
