Ward 6 is bound by Mayfield Road to the north, Mclaughlin and Mississauga Roads to the east, Winston Churchill Boulevard to the west, and Highway 407 to the south. The median household income in ward 6 is $108,000, $10,000 higher than the citywide median. Brampton wards are governed in pairs, by both a city councillor and a regional councillor. Wards 2 and 6 are governed together, though Ward 6 has a larger population of racialized residents than Ward 2, at 88.6 percent. The city councillor for Wards 2 and 6 is Navji Kaur Brar, first elected to council in 2022, and the regional councillor is Michael Palleschi, first elected in 2018.
